BREAKING: Nigerians Conduct First Free and Fair Election in History, Use It to Collect Two People's Salary
In a rare victory for democracy, Nigerians peacefully voted to give Flora and Aikou job security, accommodation, and zero chance of N160 million. INEC is reportedly studying the DStv app for clues on how results can shock everybody and still be accurate.

In a landmark moment for Nigerian democracy, millions of citizens voted enthusiastically, transparently, and without a single ballot box being set on fire, to strip two young people of their access to N160 million while requiring them to keep showing up to work.
The exercise, known as "The Gambit," saw BBNaija viewers elect Flora and Aikou into a role that guarantees them accommodation until October, full participation in all activities, complete obedience to all house rules, and absolutely no chance of being paid. Experts have confirmed this is the most accurate simulation of Nigerian employment ever broadcast on television.
Flora won her position in a landslide, polling 29.38% of the vote, the largest mandate ever handed to a Nigerian for the purpose of losing money. Political analysts note that this is the first time Nigerians have voted for someone and the person actually received exactly what was promised. INEC is reportedly studying the DStv app.
Biggie announced the twist with the tenderness of a Lagos employer: "You will be gifted longevity." Longevity. Not money. Longevity, the same package offered by every company that has ever paid a graduate in "exposure" and "a conducive working environment." Aikou, who entered the house hoping to win N160 million for his Egyptian girlfriend, has now been promoted to Nigeria's highest office: Permanent Staff, Volunteer Cadre.
There is genuinely something beautiful here. Housemates were given fake nominations, told the votes wouldn't evict anyone, and the results changed nothing about who holds power in the house. Finally, a reality show that reflects our reality. The producers didn't invent a twist. They invented civic education.
At press time, Flora and Aikou were reportedly "grateful for the opportunity", completing the final stage of their transformation into Nigerian workers. NYSC has demanded royalties, insisting it has run this exact format since 1973, also with khaki, also without money.
The National Cake is satire. Unlike The Gambit, we admit it.
